    xandi

  4. hey, this is a good site. regarding England, you may want to add Vortex (www.vortexjazz.co.uk), Hideway (www.hidewaylive.co.uk), Mau mau bar (www.jazzrefreshed.com)

in Germany, Berlin – you would want to add Quasimodo (www.quasimodo.de), A-trane (www.a-trane.de).

  5. Thank you Sandra ! All the references you gave are in the list 🙂

  6. Céline, I have a couple for you:

La Fontaine in Copenhagen is a great jazz club. When I was studying in CPH my friends and I used to go weekly. http://www.lafontaine.dk/

I also see you don’t have a section for Poland! 🙂 I have the perfect club for you, one that I used to frequent when living in Warsaw. My stepfather, a London-jazz-scene aficionado, called it Poland’s Ronnie Scott’s… http://www.tygmont.com.pl/

    (Love your blog)

  7. If you ever plan a trip to the tyrolean capital Innsbruck / Austria, don´t forgett to visit there “The Early Bird” – a very nice place for Jazz friends (wheelchairs welcome!)

  8. You missed the newest jazz club in Copenhagen. It is called “The Standard Jazz Club” which combines fine end dining with world class Jazz. It is in Nyhavn on the water in Copenhagen. The atmosphere is fantastic. http://en.thestandardcph.dk/jazzclub/the-jazz-club/ It is owned by 2 very famous people Niels Lan Doky (Jazz pianist) and famous chef (who started the best restaurant in the world) Claus Meyer. Havnegade 44 in Nyhavn.

  9. …and Hot Club Portugal (Lisboa)?

  10. Big miss here: Hot Club de Portugal – http://www.hcp.pt

It is one of the oldest jazz clubs in Europe, and considered one of the 100 best jazz clubs in the world by Downbeat magazine.

    Cheers from Lisbon, Portugal.
